  • Days – 3 days
  • Minimum age – 10
  • Venues – Big & Little Cottonwood Canyons

Red River Adventures was the absolute BEST! My family (5 of us…3 kids ages 16,14, and 12) had an amazing whitewater rafting float down the Colorado River with our super awesome guide Aaron. We saw lots of wildlife, including big horn sheep, and Aaron was not only super chill and hilarious, but very informative of the river and history of the area. The whole crew of Red River Adventures was awesome, actually! So much fun!! My kids had an absolute blast.

The guides were terrific and fun. Ours took a personal interest in everyone in the raft. Safety was obviously a genuine concern, and having fun was a top priority. Although the rapids were basically only Class I, it was still a very fun ride with beautiful scenery.

We had such a great day rafting with Red River Adventures! Our guide, Molly, was absolutely exceptional. She was friendly, knowledgeable, fun, and made everyone feel safe and comfortable throughout the trip. She went above and beyond to help us and was incredibly kind and attentive all day long. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and that made the experience even more enjoyable. One of the highlights of the day was meeting an American dad and his three daughters. As a French family, it was such a pleasure to spend time with them, chat throughout the trip, and share this adventure together. Those conversations and cultural exchanges made the experience even more special. The full-day trip might have felt just a little long for us, but it was still a fantastic experience with beautiful scenery and plenty of fun on the river. A huge thank you to Molly for making this such a memorable day. We would definitely recommend Red River Adventures!

Liz was awesome. She knew everything about anything we asked. As a former whitewater guide, I can tell you she's an excellent oarsman. Gave us the best ride low water could provide. Our 10 year-old loved it! And, some distant day, she'll make mom jokes a thing -- better than dad jokes.

We had a great time at Red River rafting. Did the half day trip and felt that was good enough if you have more plans for the day. Our guide Liz was so friendly and knowledgeable of the river. We had an incredible time canyoneering with Stephen! This was our fourth canyoneering trip with Red River Adventures, and we’ve also done two rock climbing trips with them, so we’ve had the chance to experience several of their guides and adventures. Stephen was highly trained, knowledgeable, professional, and made the entire experience feel both safe and exciting. He took the time to explain techniques, encouraged everyone at their own comfort level, and shared interesting information about the canyon along the way. The scenery was absolutely stunning, and the trip was the perfect mix of adventure and fun. Stephen’s calm, friendly personality made the day even better, and it was obvious he genuinely enjoys what he does. Red River Adventures has been consistently exceptional, which is why we keep coming back year after year. Every guide we’ve had has been knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely passionate about what they do. If you’re considering a canyoneering trip in Moab, we can’t recommend Stephen and Red River Adventures highly enough. It was once again one of the highlights of our vacation, and we’ll absolutely be back for another adventure!

Booked a full day climb with RRA in Big Cottonwood Canyon (Salt Lake City, UT). Our guide was John Lemnotis and he could not, COULD NOT have done a better job. John was super friendly, easy to talk to, gave clear instructions and feedback, was great with the kids and just a super decent human. He set us up for a killer day of outdoor climbing which was perfect for my family. We were experienced gym climbers but not experienced outdoors. We were able to beat the heat and get some great climbing in that was perfect for where we were skill wise while still being a great challenge. I personally learned a ton from John and we will 1000000% be doing another guided climb with him and RRA next year. Can’t recommend them highly enough. Our Fisher Towers full-day rafting trip with Red River Adventures was one of the highlights of our vacation, and our guide, Molly, was a huge reason why! She was hilarious, incredibly knowledgeable, and kept us laughing all day with river guide stories and jokes. One of our favorite parts was when Molly pointed out a Padlé Oarefish. We’d never even heard of one before! She explained they’re unusually flat fish, most commonly yellow with blue, red, or pink accents, and they’re surprisingly well camouflaged along the river. Such a cool thing to learn! She also showed us a rock formation that looked exactly like Winnie the Pooh wearing a beret and breathing fire. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it! The wildlife was unbelievable. We saw bighorn sheep, three otters, geese, blue herons (mud flamingos), a baby deer, a fox catching a fish, and a huge eagle nest. Molly said we’re officially her lucky group because they usually only see a couple of those animals, and she’d never seen the deer or the fox on a trip before. Lunch was fantastic too! The “conewiches” were surprisingly delicious. We were a little hesitant because we’d never tried Mediterranean food before, but the homemade Mediterranean salad with feta and kettle chips folded into a tortilla absolutely rocked. I’m still wishing I had Molly’s recipe! If you’re thinking about rafting in Moab, book the Fisher Towers trip with Red River Adventures. If you get Molly as your guide, consider yourself lucky. You’ll leave with great memories, sore cheeks from laughing, and probably a newfound appreciation for the rare and majestic Padlé Oarefish. Oh, and I t’s officially Hank’s Bubble Bath in our book.
